Parent Education Consultant
Emily has been working with children and families in a variety of capacities for 23 years. Currently, Emily is a mentor teacher at a local preschool where she supports teachers and families in thinking about and planning for children’s learning and development. In addition to her mentoring work, she also coordinates professional development for the faculty she works with. Emily has presented at and facilitated trainings for both families and teachers on a variety of topics related to early childhood education. She enjoys advocating for others, offering different perspectives, guiding learning, and supporting teachers and families in their important work with children. Emily is a parent of two teenage daughters and brings that perspective into her work with other parents.
